However, not many are aware of the reality of the scheme which makes it a bad trade. The bonus that forms an integral part of the scheme is not paid to the person until the contracts are actually being exchanged by the parties. This is to say that the bonus offered by the scheme will not be a part of the deposit value. The scheme is not suitable for the middle-income groups for the very reason that they have to borrow a fairly significant amount of money for the purpose of bridging the gap so as to touch the 1400 mark.
The consequences of the scheme are totally opposite to the intent of the actual scheme which is why the government has decided to close it.
