  1. I feel so awful for her. Firstly, obviously, because the final went so badly for her, despite an almost flawless series of qualifying races. Secondly, because the BBC continued to force and continue with an humiliating interview whilst Elise was at her lowest, most vulnerable point. Positively nasty stuff. Couldn’t the woman - a superb athlete deserving of yours and our respect - have been allowed time to compose herself? She has two more disciplines to come. Your interview will have done zip to aid her recovery. Her coaches must be livid with you. I know I am.

  2. Enough already, surely there are some other sports you could be showing, instead of the endless recounting of poor Elise.

  3. Cheating if you ask me. Not only did she push on another skater to stop herself from going wide, it also illegally prevented Elise from going around on the inside & then tripped over by the Netherlands skater.

The standards of this Olympics is just poor.

  4. Seems if you put an arm across someone you get disqualified, but if your supporting arm is kicked away that's permissible?!?! Daft ruling which has cost this brilliant athlete a medal.

  5. Back to being Scottish. πŸ˜‚

  6. She was taken out for sure

  7. Saw her hand kicked from under her....cheated from a medal...is this a legal move....come on BBC do your job for once and ask this question of the judges

  8. Lost it in the Semi. Poor qualifying meant an outside lane start. You could see the reaction of the guests in the studio they knew she had blown it.

  9. Those refβ€˜s are defo smoking some good crack! The Canadian was pretty dodge in semi and the final πŸ˜’ If only there was a way to appeal . Holding thumbs Elise does better in next events - she deserves it!

  10. I feel for her, so want to give her a hug. She probably feels she has let the country down. Far from it girl, you have done your country proud and yet again you were robbed πŸ˜“ x

  11. Cheer up buttercup you can spend the next four years practising hard on free handouts from the lottery and just think of all the money to be made from public apperences and advertising losing is winning

  12. Chin up sweetheart ,you have made GB proud .Go get the GOLD in your next races .

  13. I am a little confused; is it being implied, by omitting mentioning it, that it is legitimate to collide and physically shove hard an opponent out of the way in order to gain a place, but; it is not okay to pass an opponent with ample space to spare because the opponents hand is on the ice in front of your skate lest you touch the offending hand blocking you from gaining a place? How does touching the blocking hand constitute knocking the opponent off its feet?

  14. It's ok, she will be on social media in half an hour. #scottishathetesmatter

  15. Take a Breath Elise ,hold your head up high , reset your aim ,your country is with you , your best is yet to come πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‘

  16. Keep going Elise Christie. πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

  17. Was heartbreaking 2 watch

  18. Shes doing and done better than ur useless football teams combined pmsl some of ur comments clearly show u know nothing about sport Go Elise 🀞🏼

  19. Seems that a time trial format would solve the pushing, no pushing, is it leaning or not complaints.

  20. There are some very dodgy decisions going on in this sport.

  21. Feel so sorry for Elise xx
    Come back fighting xxx

  22. She’s a very aggressive skater, she wanted gold or nothing.

  23. Is this the lads that was dq’d at the last olympics?
